Course Information

Course: The North Shore's most scenic running course heads east and south through beautiful tree lined Highland Park streets, south on the famous Green Bay Trail, north on Sheridan Road to the Fort Sheridan turnaround, south and west through Highland Park streets to finish with a lap around Wolter's Field.

The first five and the last three miles are flat. Miles 5-10 include a few rolling hills as well as the famous "Park Avenue Beach Hill" at Mile 9. Click here to view the race map.

Aid Stations: Water and Gatorade will be served at the start/finish and approximately every two miles along the course.

Time Limits: In an effort to work with the community, we have to enforce a 13 minute/mile pace. This translates to an approximate 2.53.00 finishing time. Runners who anticipate not finishing within that time limit can begin early at their own risk.
